Are you experiencing depression, anxiety, stress or guilt from your war or combat experiences? If so, you could be suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).Welcome Home, All Veterans!

Vets Helping Vets

"To assure all who served are properly served!"

Vets Helping Vets meeting is the 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month at 1pm
Both meetings are at the Waco VA Medical Center, Building 90, Room 1B117

We would like to thank, and salute, the anonymous person(s) that donated four new computers to the Vets Helping Vets Computer Lab! These computers are used by Veterans to find lost family members, former comrades-in-arms, and to do research on their personal experiences. This is an important part of the Vets Helping Vets mission.

To All Veterans and their Families:

Are your war, combat or military experiences causing difficulties in your life?

If so, you could be suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

But, help is available!

The Waco, Texas V.A. Medical Center has a special program just for you! Building #90 (first floor) houses the PTSD-PCT Unit. Room 1B103 is the office of Vets Helping Vets.

Meet and talk with other veterans with similar problems. Call 1-254-297-3522. The hours are 9:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m., Monday-Friday (Central Standard Time).

News about the American military personnel serving in the Middle East has got me worried. My PTSD symptoms are increasing. What should I do?

If you are having a crisis situation, go to the nearest V.A. Medical Center!
